There always people who want themselves look like specialist on some kind of subject to impress and to show that they actual know something even if the make it up in fantasy to create its existing. Such is the claim by money chasers who that there is no evidence that Jesus really had his pedigree, and that the bible actual confirms this by claiming that the bible in Matthew 1:18/20 that Jesus was not of the line of David. Now if we read the bible quote of Matthew 1:18/20 then it actual confirm Jesus straight line from David, although in the latest versions of the bible recreation the link is missing. However, we keep ourselves to the early bible not to the fantasised versions later on which have passages that bear no relationship to the early bible.
Matthew 1:18/20: This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Her husband Joseph, being a man of honour and wanting to spare her publicity, decided to divorce her informally. He had made up his mind to do this when the angels of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.
It is a clear notification that Jesus was from a direct line of David. However we see also in Matthew 1:17: the sum of generations is therefore: fourteen from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the Babylonian deportation, and fourteen from the Babylonian deportation to Christ. Another indication of a straight line from the House of David as was prophesied.
Even in the some newer versions like the KJB (KJV) the text is more or less the same passed to the time of those days, but in principle the same of context. It is the newer versions and the Jewish who are trying to fiddle the words to try to reach a different conclusion. An attempt that is already failed before they started but still there are many who loving the conspiracy theories and will be taken in by the possibilities. However if, and this is a big if, just read the early bible they would see that it were the followers of Jesus who lined out exactly where it did happen and to whom.
Jesus was born in Galilee, possible in Nazareth, son of Joseph, a Jewish artisan, and his wife Mary. In addition there were several other sons and daughters. There is no indication that the life of this Jewish family differed materially from that of other Galilean families similarity situated. Jesus probably worked at his father’s trade until that fateful day when he heard John the Baptist proclaim his interested and stirring message of repentance and imminence of the Kingdom of God. It is presumed that he liked what he did hear and most probably became one of his followers. When John was imprisoned by Herod Antipas Jesus began his independent mission, suggested that it took less than a year mainly in search of the lost sheep’s of the house of Israel. He went throughout Galilee proclaiming the gospel of repentance, religious and ethical righteousness and the immediate advent of the Kingdom.
The gospel represent Jesus as the Messiah, but there is reason to believe that he thought of himself as the prophet, heralding the approach of the Kingdom and preparing people for its arrival. The Christians see Jesus as consciously founding the Christian church, without actual wanting to break with Judaism. He is also credited with the institution of the sacraments of the Eucharist, but the accounts of the last supper may well be etiological in character. In the view of the hopeless political outlook for Judaism, Jesus teachings regarding non-resistance had an added urgency, as this constant resistance would be 40 years later be end of the state of Israel and the home of the Jewish people.
However this non-resistance was the best common sense in the world for the Jewish to renounce political ambition and their apocalyptic dream of becoming a world domination, if they only had listened and had followed his council, they would have been in Israel fore ever and their history would have been totally different from that time to the present. And the problem still does exist as they still dream of a world domination and still claiming that Israel is their homeland. However it is not, it was given by the UN as a Jewish Homeland, not as a Jewish state as that right they did not and do not have. They were the invaders into a country occupied by other tribes, they slung those out or killed them, just as they still do today.
However, the UN declaration on rights of indigenous people (general Assembly). The tribes then as the Palestinians now have first right they are the indigenous people under the legal term in international law of people who were there first and although then and now Israel does not recognise those International rights, they are there to be obeyed, even the almost 50% Jewish of the Congress of the United States (the rest is blackmailed into obeying Israel) is protecting Israel as the little bully schoolboy what need protection from his big bully brother. Then again some people live in such an arrogances that they are blinded for the reality of life. That was so in the time of Jesus and it is so at present and if they go on ignoring the laws of God it will not take another 40 years bur it will be all over in a year of 7/8 at the most, regardless of the United States promises.
However, Jesus teachings regarding non-resistance to evil has a deeper religious basis than political common sense as Jesus taught that God is the Father of all men and they are brothers in the one great family. In the Kingdom of God, the character of those who are its members must correspond to the character of God as in Matthew 5:43/48. He did not proclaim himself of being the Messiah, although he most probably was the Messiah, as prophetic he did not undertake to gather followers for a revolt against the Roman Empire. It is clear from the tradition of the question about the tribute money as in Mark 12:13/17, whatever its full meaning that Jesus did not teach or encourage active resistance against the Romans.
For the people on his wanderings Jesus was known as a Rabbi or a teacher. It was actual a radical form of Judaism that emphasized the spirit rather than the letter of the law as given to the Jewish by God to Moses. This brought him in conflict with the ruling Jewish elite the Pharisees and the Sadducees, who had the Temple as their base of power. The first Christians therefore where also Jewish who did see Jesus as the fulfilments of the Jewish Messiah prophecies. It is for this reason as they went on to be Jewish and adhered to the Jewish scriptures, as Christians they have the Old Testament as part of the Christian teachings. The word Christ as is well known means Messiah or Saviour. It was for this reason that in the very early stages they believed that Jesus brought spiritual rather than political salvation.
However, one part is absolute sure; Jesus was who he said he was, the saviour of mankind, and a straight forward descendant of David as prophesied by the prophets in the Old Testament. Regardless of the Rabbinate in Israel likes it or not, the truth always wins in the end, something they should have learned by now you would think! Without God’s help they will be nowhere then wandering in the wilderness once more!
